The Environmental Impact on Human Wellbeing: A Case Study on Residences in Quarry Area

An Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) is compulsory in all types of new development. EIA important to ensure that biological diversity maintained and development will not have any affect on the people other species area. The aim this study investigate environmental impact human wellbeing vicinity quarrying. It increase awareness local population factors might quality their lives. A set questionnaires was distributed community at Bandar Saujana Putra Taman Kajang Perdana, Selangor. total 60 residents were involved study. results reveal concerned about health conditions safety. However, there still a lack strategies mitigate problem. This provides suggestions for mitigation could be considered by reduce effect poor air caused incorrect control monitoring activities anticipated assist both authorities improving as well residents’ life.
